President and CEO

Atlast Financial Services, LLC was founded by Richard W. Campanaro in 2001. Mr. Campanaro graduated in 1966 with a B.S.B.A. and M.B.A. (same year) from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. He began his insurance career with Metropolitan Life in 1966 and moved through sales and management ranks until he joined Liberty Life Insurance Company in Greenville, South Carolina as Executive Vice President of Marketing. In 1985, he moved to New York to form two legal reserve life insurance companies as joint ventures between Merrill Lynch & Company and Equitable Life Insurance Company, now known as AXA. These companies, Tandem Financial Group and Royal Tandem of New York, jointly became one of the fastest growing life insurance companies in the US with premiums in excess of $4.5 billion by 1990. Merrill Lynch purchased these companies, in total, in 1991 and Mr. Campanaro merged them with two other insurance companies to form the Merrill Lynch Insurance Group now Located in Jacksonville, Florida. He retired in 1991 and consulted throughout the insurance industry until forming Atlast Financial Services, LLC in 2001.

Executive VP of Sales

Mr. Campanaro brings over 16 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industries. Prior to joining the management team at Atlast Financial, he worked with companies such as State Farm and AXA/Equitable. Mr. Campanaro is currently responsible for the company's comprehensive marketing strategy, including external communications, internal communications, corporate affairs, regional marketing, and overall quality. His team is responsible for driving clear, compelling value propositions to all segments of the market; for overall stewardship of the Atlast brand; and for supporting our partners as they execute to achieve Atlast's objectives.
